Walsh is proud to announce that partner Peter J. Pizzi has successfully maintained his designation as a New Jersey Supreme Court Certified Trial Attorney, a distinction held by a small percentage of attorneys statewide and reserved for those demonstrating exceptional experience, skill and professionalism in civil trial practice.

Certification by the New Jersey Supreme Court is granted only to attorneys who meet rigorous standards established by the Board on Attorney Certification. The process requires substantial trial experience, a favorable evaluation by judges and peers, completion of advanced continuing legal education, and, at the time of initial certification, the successful passage of a comprehensive written examination. To maintain the designation, attorneys must recertify every five years by demonstrating current trial experience and continued adherence to high standards of performance. Peter’s most recent recertification was his third following the Board’s initial designation in 2009.

Peter’s continued certification underscores his deep trial experience and unwavering commitment to advocacy on behalf of his clients. As a seasoned litigator, he represents individuals and businesses in complex civil matters and is widely respected for this strategic approach, courtroom presence, and dedication to achieving favorable outcomes.

The New Jersey Supreme Court Certified Civil Trial Attorney Designation serves as an objective measure of an attorney’s proficiency and is intended to assist the public in identifying attorneys with demonstrated expertise in civil trial law.
