Michael S. Asante-Appiah focuses his practice on Business and Commercial Litigation. Prior to joining Walsh, he clerked for the Honorable Heidi W. Currier, Chief Presiding Judge of the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division. Michael previously served as a Summer Associate at Walsh in 2024.

Michael earned his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2025, where he served as Digital & Technology Editor of the Seton Hall Journal of Legislation and Public Policy. He was also a 2024 Fall Leadership Fellow, received the Appellate Advocacy “Best Oral Advocate” award, and was recognized for his contributions to the Immigrants’ & International Human Rights Clinic. Michael received his B.A. in Political Science from Purdue University, where he was a two-time recipient of the Academic and Service Award from the Purdue Black Caucus of Faculty and Staff and a three-time Dean’s List honoree.
